Orders are produced in the order at which they are received. Please allow 2-3 weeks for our order preparation. All orders are shipped with USPS 1-3 day delivery.

Please be patient and allow for 48 hours between message and response time. Hide Society is ran and operated by one person, and times may vary. 

Our leather goods are made to stay strong and durable. Leather is prone to scratch, it will never look flawless. The surface of your product is not covered in plastic coatings, making it vulnerable to natural scratches. Embrace the rugged look these products desire to obtain!

However, if a scratch bothers you, try buffing it out with our leather balm, a soft cloth or the pad of your finger tip. Our leathers have sufficient oils & waxes that enable them to "heal" on their own. Visit our Leather Care page to learn more about protecting your product.

Hide Society products are hand crafted by a single human. Orders are produced in the order at which they are received. Hide Society does not use high tech machines to cut and stitch products, all of the production is done by hand. Please be patient while your product is being created for you. 

We do our best to keep our quality leather products as affordable as possible. You may see other companies who are able to offer free shipping, and the truth is those other companies are most likely mass producing products at a low cost. They are not hit with the shipping fees and are still able to make money. But, when you purchase any of our leather products, you can rest easy knowing they will be 100% hand made by premium materials at a fraction of the cost of most leather sellers. Since shipping is not factored into pricing and costs, it is important we charge the appropriate costs. USPS has been raising their prices over the years, but we will always work out a way to make shipping reasonable and affordable. We also offer free local pick up in Kansas City. 

Local pick up is offered for free at check out. After your order is placed you will receive specific information about your order pick up date and location. Pick up will be located in the River Market in Kansas City, MO.
